We would like to inform you of an upcoming disruptive maintenance work on the power infrastructure at our datacenter in Frankfurt. Please read this carefully, as this will affect your services with us.
During the maintenance, the electrical systems will be serviced according to manufacturer recommendations to ensure long-term and safe operation of the infrastructure. As a result, shutting down electrical feeds are unavoidable unfortunately.
Please note that this will affect all Ryzen 9 7950X3D/7950X Virtual Private Servers. Some services are in our legacy datacenter, they will not be affected. The easiest way to determine this is by seeing if your service has 1Gbit/s or a 10Gbit/s uplink. All servers with a 10Gbit/s uplink are affected. If any of your other services are affected, we have reached out to you directly by now.
This maintenance is scheduled to be done in two phases on May 13, 2025, lasting around 1 hour 30 minutes each. Each affected service will go down only once, during either of the maintenance windows. As a result, your service may be impacted for upto a maximum of 1 hour 30 minutes.
The first phase will start at 07:45 UTC, the second phase will start at 11:45 UTC.
At the start of the maintenance, we will be shutting down all services gracefully. Once the maintenance is completed and circuits are re-energized, we will proceed to start all servers. Please make sure your servers are configured to restart any running applications automatically.
